This is a power point I made in Keynote.
The students identify which box has the answer to the given question. To answer the question they can play two ways: Numbered Heads Together or Showdown.
These are two Kagan Cooperative Learning Structures...for Numbered Heads Together, the students listen to the question, quietly think about the answer, then when the teacher says "Numbered Heads Together", they lean in together to tell each other in their team what they think the answer is. The team discusses to make sure that everyone agrees on an answer. Then the teacher asks each team what the answer is to check.
With "Showdown", the students quietly write their answer down on a mini white board and hold up the answer when the teacher calls out "Showdown". Then the teacher can see who got the answer right.
This is a fun way to practice identifying groups that are Greater Than, Less Than or Equal to!
Hope your kids have as much fun as mine do!
