* 1 “Numbers to 99” game board
You’ll need to get two 10-sided dice prior to using this game. Print the game board on cardstock and laminate or place in a page protector. To mark off numbers, use counters or dry erase markers in different colors.
This game is great for 2 players. On your turn, roll both 10-sided dice. Make one roll the “tens” and one roll the “ones.” For example, if you roll a 4 and a 7, you could say “47” or “74.” Then mark off a number your roll makes on the game board with your counter/marker (ONLY one number [47 or 74] -- NOT BOTH). It is then Player 2’s turn. Play goes back and forth until one player marks off 5 numbers in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
NOTE: If a player rolls a number that is already marked off by the other player, s/he may STEAL it and mark it off as his/her own!
**To make the game easier, players can also work to get 3 or 4 numbers in a row instead of the specified 5 that is printed on the game board.
I love a low prep activity that interests and challenges my kindergartners. I hope you will, too!
