This interactive notebook activity and quick check assessment covers TEKS 5.4C: Generate a numerical pattern when given a rule in the form y=ax or y=x+a and graph and TEKS 5.4D: Recognize the difference between additive and multiplicative numerical patterns given a table or graph
These interactive notebook pages give students an organized, tangible collection of all the different skills we cover in math in 5th grade. It provides a concise introduction to a new skill, a tool for them to use for review when testing rolls around, and serves as a great take-home resource for parents to see exactly what we are learning in math!
I've designed these pages in such a way that they have minimal graphics and distractions so we can focus on learning and practicing each skill. I've used these pages in both a whole-group and small-group setting, and it has worked well for me in both!
