Students read about the Nuremberg Trial, sentencing, and executions of Nazi War Criminals and answer 9 questions of varying difficulty (answers included) and complete a creative task regarding a museum exhibit. Some questions are derived directly from the text, for others students have to infer and draw conclusions. This would be great for a sub!
Sample questions include:
-Why was Goering happy that he received a death sentence rather than life in prison?
-Why was Ribbentrop upset that he got a death sentence?
-Why was it so important for Goering’s death to be officially recognized?
-Explain the meaning of this phrase: “passed behind a canvas curtain into the black pages of history.”
