These are great activities for math centers! Students practice their number recognition while playing in pairs. Just give them some 2-colored tokens or two bingo daubers and a dice and they are ready to go!
I have included 5 game boards with the numbers 1-6. I usually laminate each board for durability. If you make enough copies, you can have your whole class play at the same time!
This set is Nursery Rhyme themed with some cute images of Humpty Dumpty, Little Miss Muffet, Little Bo Peep, Baa Baa Black Sheep and The Itsy Bitsy Spider. I find that my students' interest in the games gets revived when they have a new look, so I create these for all of my themes throughout the year - I will be working on making more of my Roll & cover Addition & Subtraction games into Number Recognition games soon!
There are also 2 recording sheets, on each the students practice counting and writing their numbers 1-6 and then representing those numbers on blank dice. I hope you enjoy it, and if you're looking for more freebies and ideas please visit my blog, Herding Kats In Kindergarten, at
