This is a jointed paper doll my students love to make during our Nutcracker Unit. It's a fun activity that allows them to retell the classic ballet story, and also take home a festive ornament.
Print on cardstock. Color with markers or colored pencils (for best results). Cut out pieces. Laminate (optional, but they last longer if you do). Punch holes at black dots with 1/16" hole punch. Assemble using small paper fasteners (available at hobby/craft and scrapbooking stores). Embellish with glitter, etc. To make an ornament, punch an additional hole at the top and thread on a string for hanging.
