Teaching about the human body or human nutrition?
Nutrient Puzzle Stations is a fun, engaging, learning focused look at the nutrients essential to human life that has been consistently and successfully used in classrooms to engage students and promote learning!
Also available as a part of the Digestive System Teacher Pack!
Students (alone or in groups) move from station to station to solve each madgab-style, jumble, or other puzzle and fill in the blanks on the Nutrient Stations Worksheet.
Nutrient Puzzle Stations can be used as an introduction to, practice on, or a summary of the study of human nutrition and essential nutrients. (One mineral Clue Page requires basic knowledge of the Periodic Table of Elements – students can usually figure most of this page out as they go).
Students will be able to list and describe the six nutrients essential to humans.
