The Nutrition & Healthy Eating Unit is a full unit plan and all supplemental materials needed to teach students about the elements necessary for proper nutrition and explain how individuals can make healthy food choices. The unit plan includes 6 different lessons with supplemental activities including worksheets, quizzes, tests and other activities. Each lesson meets the National Health Education Standards. Lessons can be modified to cover the Essential Knowledge Concepts for grades 6-8 or grades 9-12.
