This resource is a PDF file of an activity based on which parts of plants we eat. This activity is designed to help students understand the importance of eating a variety of plant parts (ie leaves, stems, roots / bulbs, flowers and fruit).
This resource is three pages long. This is a classifying activity where students have to cut out the various fruits, vegetables and herbs and sort them into five groups. The first page is a table for students to glue the pictures into and the second page includes the pictures for the students to cut out. The third page is an answer sheet for the teacher.
This activity could also be used as an assessment or test at the conclusion of a unit of work.
