Objective: Student will be able to compare nutrition facts labels to make an inference about “eating out” vs. eating at home.
Students will compare their favorite meal at a restaurant chain (Panera, Chipotle, 5 Guys, etc.) and use the information from that meal to compare the the nutrition facts of a meal made at home. Students will look at the calories, fats, carbohydrates and protein in each meal to decide if eating out or eating at home is a healthier choice.
