This is a health unit on nutrition & healthy eating. It discusses the three macronutrients: carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. It also has information on vitamins, minerals, and reading food labels. There is an article and follow up questions for each topic which can be treated as one lesson. At the end of the unit the students are required to complete an assignment where they track their daily eating habits for one week and work towards improving those habits.
