Color printables (black and white will not ruin it) of commonly eaten snacks and drinks, or "meals", eaten by students. Nutrition facts provided for each of 16 items provided and approximate daily recommendations.
Students select 4 items to cut and paste on worksheet where they will total the calories, total fat, sodium, sugars, and dietary fiber. They will calculate percentage of daily value and shade accordingly. Sample provided.
Graphic organizer included for students to rate and comment on possible health impact of each of the nutrition fact when totaled for the "meal".
