"Nutty" Interactive Listening Activities - Perfect for fall or anytime during the year.
Use this "Nutty" interactive listening activity to review and / or reinforce identifying melodic patterns utilizing mostly sol, mi, and la and rhythmic patterns utilizing quarter, half, quarter rest, and an occasional sixteenth note value.
Designed for whole-class instruction as well as small-group or centers.
The home page contains 32 "Nutty" faces linked to interactive listening pages. Students are able to listen to embedded melodic or rhythmic sounds and select the correct answer. Fun, verbal feedback given for answers will delight and engage your students. Self-checking answers hidden on the rhythmic pages make this a great center activity.
This activity is designed for maximum interaction for the students and flexibility for teachers:
Dark "Nutty" faces are linked to rhythmic listening while light "Nutty" faces are linked to melodic listening. For random listening, use the home page; for a melodic or rhythmic track, use the page navigation buttons within each group. All pages include a "Next" and "Back" button for easy navigation and flexibility.
There are 32 different listening pages filled with kid-tested fun. Ha! Ha! Ha! - several corny jokes are thrown in just for fun, too.
