The story AFTER TWENTY YEARS by O. Henry can be difficult to follow for my junior high kids with the flowery language and complex sentence structure. Given the switching of characters' identities in the story, this comic book activity allows them to keep track of who is talking while using important quotes from the story to help them identify the plot.
- 6 quotes and graphic organizer
- 6 panel comic frame (see instructions in preview)
- answer key
I also have an abridged version of the story. It is differentiated to give you a multi - level version of the story, making it accessible for your special education, ELL / ELD students and struggling readers well below grade. Check it out on my store!
