The Spelling Notebook & Teacher Guide Bundle has just been newly updated with EDITABLE Student Notebook Pages!! This OG based Spelling curriculum is multi-sensory approach to understanding and using the 44 sounds of the English language in each position of a word (IMF). I have worked for a couple of years to develop a format that is classroom, homeschool & teacher friendly. The basis for this curriculum is an Orton-Gillingham approach. This format, I have designed & re-designed over the past couple of years, has been used by different groups of students who range in ability from Gifted, Dyslexic, to students with other Specific Learning Differences, really anyone that is struggling with spelling. I have seen the most success using my format. By “success”, I mean, students understand the phonetic strategies and apply these strategies in their writing using their spelling notebook. As you follow the Teacher Guide to help your student build their Spelling Notebook, you will discover things you would like to add to your guide or take away. I played around with the set- up of both the Teacher Guide & Student Notebook. I found the most important thing is the content. The set-up and organization of the notebooks are up to your liking.
There is a Teacher Guide file with a Daily Lesson Plan that is a suggestion for pacing throughout the curriculum.
