O.P.A.L.S Planning Posters
O.P.A.L.S follows a simple planning structure to assist students to write narratives/stories with effective sequence (orientation, complication and resolution) as well as getting the students to be aware of their language and vocabulary choices.
There are six posters in the set, including an OVERVIEW poster with all 5 letters.
The other posters are:
O - Opening (How will you start the story. Decide on your orientation)
P - Problem (What is your complication)
A - Action (What action will follow the problem)
L - Language (What language features will you use)
S - Solution (How will you resolve and end your narrative)
Accompanying these posters is this FREE resource of the O.P.A.L.S planning templates.
