O.P.A.L.S Planning Template
O.P.A.L.S follows a simple planning structure to assist students to write narratives/stories with effective sequence (orientation, complication and resolution) as well as getting the students to be aware of their language and vocabulary choices.
The sections for planning are:
O - Opening (How will you start the story. Decide on your orientation)
P - Problem (What is your complication)
A - Action (What action will follow the problem)
L - Language (What language features will you use)
S - Solution (How will you resolve and end your narrative)
Accompanying this template is the poster set O.P.A.L.S planning posters available in my TPT store
