Give your geography class exposure to different cities--around the world or within your own country--with a Flat Stanley Oral Presentation Project.
Students mail their cartoon character with a letter (to be written in class), requesting photos of various important landmarks or sites from another geographic location. Students will organize their photos using technology or by creating a poster to deliver an oral presentation, explaining the significance of their photos.
Includes the following 4 items:
-2 Parent Letters, both formatted for the rubric to be printed on the back to inform parents of the criteria for the presentation
~one letter requests that the Flat Stanley oral presentation project be mailed WITHIN your country
~one letter requests that the Flat Stanley oral presentation project be mailed OUTSIDE your country
~both letters ask parents to submit the location to which Flat Stanley will be mailed and inform them of due dates, which can be written directly on the form
-Oral Presentation Rubric, which can be printed on the back of the parent letter
-Class List Template to record the Flat Stanley destination of each student, along with their presentation due date and final grade. One page has space for 25 students
