Product Description
An engaging lesson (28 slides) that looks at the orbits of some natural and artificial satellites. The lesson begins by challenging the students to name some objects that would be "spinning around" and then gets them to recognise the difference between these satellites, as natural or artificial. Moving forwards, the lesson will focus on the Moon and its orbit of the Earth and how although the speed of this object will stay the same, the velocity and acceleration will change. Students will also briefly look at geostationary and low polar orbits of artificial satellites.
