Thank you for checking out my brain. :)
People may not understand how tasks we work on connect to the "where" and "why" of their brains. Whether students, clients, or caregivers, a visual aid like this can help people we work with become more compliant and empowered as we take the time to discuss the general functions of the brain and how these relate to what we do in therapy and/or the classroom.
This is a digital file of an original, hand-drawn illustration with my initials. The drawing represents a brain's left hemisphere in a non-intimidating way a lay person can understand. Done in watercolors, colored pencils, and ink, this jpeg file can be downloaded for unlimited personal use, including as clipart for therapy materials. No commercial use of my art is permitted in any form.
In addition to its value as a teaching tool, this original art can be combined with other drawings of mine to create a set of wall hangings that are pleasing to the eye in an office or therapy room, reminding us why we do what we do. My art can also be resized to print as cards for friends and family. If you use a quality printer and paper, any of my illustrations should be frameable and resizable for your personal use in whatever way makes you happy.
