Thanks for checking out my limbic system :)
People may not understand how tasks we work on connect to the "where" and "why" of their brains. Whether students, clients, or caregivers, a visual aid like this can help people we work with become more compliant and empowered as we take the time to discuss in general terms where the limbic system is in the brain, what it does, and how it relates to what we do in therapy and/or the classroom.
This is a digital file of an original, hand-drawn illustration with my initials. The drawing represents a brain's left hemisphere in a non-intimidating way a lay person can understand. Done in watercolors, colored pencils, and ink, this jpeg file can be downloaded for unlimited personal use. No commercial use of my art is permitted in any form.
In addition to its value as a teaching tool, this original art can be combined with other drawings of mine to create a set of wall hangings that are pleasing to the eye in an office or therapy room, reminding us why we do what we do. If you use a quality printer and paper, any of my illustrations should be frameable and resizable for your personal use in whatever way fits your needs. This product cannot be used for commercial gain.
