Brought to you by Kodaly Music With Mrs Perry, this terrific traditional game song can be used for either low so or tim-ka, depending on your needs. There are 9 pages to mix and match as you see fit.
Here is what you get:
*9 pages of materials
*Drum / Xylophone parts (drum part includes two options: one for prepare and one for practice)
*Two interactive visual examples of how to play the game - watch the sow run through the corn field
*Full song with phrase markings
* Two pages to teach melody, focusing on low so. Tap the blue arrow, get pig snorts and see where the low sound should be on the staff. Tap the note on the staff that is low so and it will light up with a box around it and make pig snort sounds.
*Two pages to teach rhythm, focusing on tim-ka. Tap the long line and dot. It will light up and provide a pig snort. The second page contains tim-kas that will light up when tapped, along with providing a pig snort, when practicing the rhythm.
Students will beg to play this game, which is great for not only teaching the concepts but providing a movement outlet on indoor recess days!!
