I created this OW vowel team sort to help students read and listen for the OW sound in the word. If the word says OW like SNOW, they color the word one color. If the word says OW like PLOW, they color the word a different color. This is a great follow up to my OW vowel team sorting worksheet in which the students read and cut, sort, glue the words into the correct OW vowel team / sound category. The can be used following a minilesson, or practice during literacy centers. I may even use this as morning work or an assessment. Check out my other OW vowel team activities!, as well as all of the other activities I've created for all of the vowel teams, as well as blends, digraphs, short vs. long vowels, r-controlled vowels, -le syllable sorts, etc.
