This cute game goes along with First Grade Reading Streets A Trip to Washington D.C.and provides practice with oa and ow. There are 4 different activities. There are 2 levels of read and highlight words with -ow and-oa sheets. There is also a game to practice reading the words. Cut out all the cards and place them in a stack. If the students read the words they can keep the cards. If they get the "you found gold at the end of the rainbow" card they get an extra turn. If they get the "no gold at the end of the rainbow" card they must return all cards to the bottom of the stack. The player with the most cards at the end of the time wins the game. There are 4 pages of cards. The first 2 pages are easier and the 2nd two get harder. This is great for some differentiated practice. There is also a making words activity.Have fun learning!
