This activity takes your students on a tour of 4 Presidential Libraries as your students learn about the 4 modern presidents: George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
Your students will start off with a 4 corners activity as they explore the essential question - Who is the best president of the Modern Era? Then they will have the opportunity to "visit" each president's library as they learn about the key events that have occurred from 1990-2011. Students will analyze images, read primary sources and take notes on domestic and foreign policies of each president.
After they have completed the information from the Presidential Library, they will visit the “gift shop” and make either a bobble head, pressed penny, t-shirt or campaign button to represent what they have learned.
