Documentation on the child’s learning is one of the most vital parts of an educator’s position. It is up to us to understand the child’s, interests, capabilities, & skills as so we can continuously prepare them for the future.
Lucky for us we have a variety of documentation styles available to us.
One of the most common styles of documentation is the learning story, A 'Learning Story' is a record of what an educator has seen a child or a group of children do. There is no required length for a learning story it may be as little as a paragraph or longer than a page, it is completely up to the educator.
