This fun themed fine motor pack has something for everyone ! Perfect for traveling therapists and for classroom use. There are tracing sheets for beginning writers, a cut and paste sentence sequencing task, and prompt sheets for more mature students. The prompt sheets make a cute bulletin board display of your student's work and progress !
This has everything from tracing for the beginning writer up to writing prompts for the more mature student. I love cut and paste activities because I get to see many skills at one time. Try having the student trace the beginner pages using finger lights (found on Amazon etc.) or in tactile mediums such as shaving cream and sand trays. As always, I like to encourage incorporating movement J During therapy sessions, have the student ride a scooter, do an animal walk, walk the beam, or crawl through a tunnel in between writing/tracing. Pages 3-9are tracing pages. Pages 10-12 are scissor practice pages. Pages 13-16 should be laminated and used as either dough mats or use tongs and craft poms. If you are feeling extra creative, make spiders out of black craft poms and eyes to place in the web.The students can draw a number from a bag/container and count how many pieces of candy/craft poms to place on the mats. Using white, yellow, and orange poms is fun for the candy corn. You could also use tissue squares, or actual candy corns ! Pages 16-21 are writing pages.Pages 20-21 make cute displays and bulletin boards ! Pages 22-25 are a Write the Room activity.Print, laminate, and cut the word cards.Hide them around the room.Students retrieve them and write the word by the picture that matches on the worksheet provided. I like to print two sets and have the students match the picture cards to a set on the desk/table during therapy sessions.I have the kids ride a scooter, jump, etc to pick up one set of cards placed around the room and bring them back to the table to match them and then write the words. Pages 26-27 can be used as count and clip (lamin
ate) or hole punch cards.
