play individually, in pairs or groups

group work: divide the class in two groups; group A gets picture cards and group B gets the word cards each student has to complete his/her puzzle;



2. Dictation

materials:
picture cards 1 ( page:23-26)
Dictation mats ( 17-18)

play in pairs , groups or individually

*in pairs: student A covers the mat with the picture cards he/she chose
then student A dictates to student B :‘ Number one is a fireman !’; student B puts the card in its place

individually: Teacher dictates to the students:

3: What’s missing ?

Materials : -What is missing ? Mats ( 19-22)
-Picture cards 1 ( 23-26)


Instructions :

-teacher divides the class in pairs
-teacher writes down on the pieces of paper ( A, B )
-each student gets a mat ( What’s missing?) ,a set of picture cards 1 and a piece of paper ( A or B ),it is important that one student in the pair gets A and the other B
Teacher puts in an envelope one A and one B piece of paper , then he/she takes one piece of paper from the envelope ( for example ( B) ; this means that B’s play first;
Student B chooses four cards from his/her set and covers the mat
Student A tries to memorize student B’s mat and then closes his/her eyes;
Student B removes one card from his/her mat;
Student B: ‘What’s missing?’
Student A : ‘ A policeman! ‘
Student B: ‘Yes.’
Student B has to give his/her blue sheep card to student A;
Now it’s student A’s turn
The winner is the student with more picture cards! 
