Use these double sided circles to work on plurals as well as the pronouns (I, you, he, she, they). On one side of the circle is the pirate(s) and on the other there is either ocean animals or ocean vehicles. Depending which pictures are facing up allows you to play different games.
One advantage to this game is that there are a variety of "they" pictures (e.g. two boys and one girl or two girls). That way children learn that two or more people is "they" instead of just a boy and a girl together are "they."
Different ways to play:
1. Pronouns and/or Plurals (expressive)
2. Pronouns and/or Who questions (expressive)
3. Pronouns (receptive)
4. Pronouns and/or Plurals and/or Counting (expressive)
5. Plurals and/or Counting (receptive)
2. Story starters
Vocabulary used: pirates, clams, crabs, dolphins, fish, seahorses, shells, sharks, jellyfish, turtles, whales, ships, boats, submarines, sailboats, surfboards.
