Same and different are two concepts that can be tricky for young children to fully understand. Here are three activities that slowly increase in difficulty.
Activity 1: Is good in a group setting or one on one. This activity focuses on finding the different ocean animal in a group of four.
Activity 2: Is a file folder game. The student(s) sort cards with two pictures on them. The cards either have two pictures of the same ocean animal or two pictures of different ocean animals.
Activity 3: Is another file folder game. This is similar to activity two but the two animals on the card are the same but may differ in size and orientation.
