Looking for a fun way for students to stay organized and motivate them to behave in your classroom? Then this amazing ocean themed pack is for you! Below you will find a description of what is included in this "fin"tastic pack!
Ocean Binder Covers (Front and Back)
-My students use an O.C.E.A.N. (Organized Communication Every Achiever Needs) binder to help them stay organized and provides the parents and teacher with daily communication. Just slip these covers into the front and back clear pocket of your students' binders to create a great communication tool. They can also be hole punched and placed inside a folder or binder if they do not have a clear front pocket.
Behavior Beach Sign
-Place this cute sign above your behavior management pocket chart, behavior cards, or clip chart.
Editable Behavior Policy Letter
-This is a great way to inform parents about your classroom rules and behavior plan. Use this editable copy to list your own rules and explain your behavior management system. The editable copy is an example of what I send home in case you need any ideas. After you edit the policy to meet the needs of your classroom, send this letter home with your students at the beginning of the year so each parent and child understands your behavior management plan. Both the parent and student will sign and return the bottom of this letter for you to keep as a reference. I like to keep these in case a parent has any questions throughout the school year.
Editable Behavior Log
-This is a great tool to record students' behavior each day. Have each student keep this form in the front inside pocket of their O.C.E.A.N. binder. An editable copy is included so you can change the dates to meet the needs of your classroom. If a student breaks a rule, I use the code at the bottom of the behavior log to write the letter of the offense in the box so parents know why they moved their card or clip that day. Have parents initial each box every day so you have a behavior record for each quarter.
-My students LOVE sand dollars and getting to go to our Sand Dollar shop each Friday! Your students will love earning Sand Dollars to earn rewards and privileges. Sand Dollars are a fun way to motivate and reward your students for appropriate behavior. They can choose to either save or spend their Sand Dollars for rewards and privileges. A detailed description of how to implement this in your classroom is included.
Editable Sand Dollars Reward Sign
-This sign can be posted near your behavior chart or where you will set up your "Sand Dollar Rewards Shop" so students know how many Sand Dollars they need to earn for each privilege or reward. An editable copy is included so you can add your own rewards and privileges.
All editable copies are in Microsoft Word format. They also serve as examples of what I use in my own ocean themed classroom in case you want some ideas to use in your own room. This pack will be a great addition or help to you just in time for the new school year!
