What a great way to help your students learn how to add multi-digit numbers (2-Digit, 3-Digit, and 4-digit) on their own level! This pack includes 3 different levels of games and activities to meet the needs of your students! Once you have leveled your students into math groups, you can have them play these games as a teacher directed small group activity, math station game, or partner activity.

*4-in-a-Row Ocean Addition Game
*Roll, Say, Keep Addition Game
*Create Your Own 2-Digit, 3-Digit, or 4-Digit Word Problem
*Ocean Expedition Card Games: (3 levels for differentiation) Each level includes addition equation cards without regrouping, with regrouping, or you can combine both sets of cards for a mixed review of this skill! First, choose the cards you need to play the game. Then, place all of the cards face down in one stack. Each student will take turns choosing a card. He or she will then solve the equation on the card. If the student answers correctly, he or she keeps the card. If not, the card goes back to the bottom of the pile. If a student picks up a “fun” card, he or she will follow the directions on the card. Whoever has the most cards at the end of the game is the winner!
Level 1: 2-Digit Addition (choose with or without regrouping cards)
Level 2: 3-Digit Addition (choose with or without regrouping cards)
Level 3: 4-Digit Addition (choose with or without regrouping cards)
Students may play these card games orally or record their answers on a white board, a piece of paper, or the included recording sheet. Directions on how to play these card games are included and can be posted in a math station.
Ocean Adventure Addition Game, 4-in-a Row Ocean Addition Game, Create Your Own Word Problem, and Roll, Say, Keep provide additional practice using the leveled equation cards to learn how to add multi-digit numbers with and without regrouping in a small math group, math station, or with a partner. I also included the leveled dice, spinner, and deck of cards games listed above for additional practice with addition.
Once they complete their game, they may choose from the list of extension activities on the direction card. A create your own word problem activity page is included in this pack.
