Classical Composers in only 20 minutes a day! Great for adding music history into your curriculum, music classes, or homeschool. There are 31 days of activities and each page is fun & easy. Designed for early learners, there are listening sheets, vocabulary words/handwriting practice, and short studies on a composer's country.
Follow the 31-day sequence provided or develop your own. Use these printables as needed. Each mini-activity can be used as a starting point into additional lessons (composer studies, music lessons, etc) or in accompaniment to online classical music games, apps, and library research. Make it your own!
The composers included in October's 20-Minutes a Day bundle are Franz Liszt, Johann Strauss, Charles Ives, and Giuseppe Verdi. Listening sheets include popular pieces such as Liebestraum No.3 and La Campanella. The Verdi listening sheets give insight into the opera "Aida," and the Strauss unit will introduce a familiar tune!
Blank listening sheets are included to choose your own classical piece! Blank writing pages (including space for a picture) are included for "writing and essay" activities - this allows you to provide a writing prompt or assign some journal/reflecting time on the composers and music covered.
