October Craftivity Bundle - Literacy-Themed Craftivities for Fall
This bundle contains 3 different October-themed craftivities. All three activities are literacy-based.
explore the story elements of: plot, character, setting, problem, resolution, and theme.
put overused words to rest. Students will create a list of synonyms for the words: said, went, good, bad, then, and very.
explore the reading comprehension strategies of: asking questions, inferring, making connections, summarizing, synthesizing, and visualization.
All three craftivities result in a 3D product that is perfect for display in the classroom or home. Students will LOVE the final result! Each craftivity contains 2 different size options – full sheet size for larger display areas (and longer answers) and half-sheet size for smaller display areas (and slightly shorter answers).
Activities can be printed on construction paper, cardstock, or plain white paper and then glued to construction paper for strength and durability.
Each activity includes a rubric for formative or summative assessment. The pumpkins and ghosts make for a great non-traditional book report, perfect for the Fall season.
