Several pages are included (to be photocopied on the backs of the pages) that provide writing checklist options. They can be used for self, peer, or teacher editing and provide a helpful reminder for students to include what they need to include in their writing! Eg. I used punctuation, I provided closure, etc.
You may wish to create a monthly writing portfolio for each student. You can present the pages as student choice options or assign pages to work on for the day.
Learning standard checklists for Common Core, TEKS, and VA SOL are included.
This pack is part of a bundle that includes a FULL YEAR of no prep, daily journal activities to keep students’ writing ideas new & fresh throughout the entire school year!
