Make the month of October Halloween a celebration with these STEM-TASTIC activities. These 7 engaging October Halloween STEM activities are sure to add some rigor and excitement to the month. These quick prep STEM challenges can be used as stations or as activities completed throughout the day/month. These STEM stations were created with Kindergarten and 1st grade in mind, but could also be used for beginning of the year 2nd grade.
Pumpkin Creation (students create something with 31 candy pumpkins and play dough)
Candy Creations (students create 2D or 3D shapes with candy corn and toothpicks)
Skeleton Straws (students create a skeleton with straws)
Spooky Webs (students create a spider web with string and pipe cleaners)
Make a Monster (students create a monster using pipe cleaners, toothpicks, craft eyes, and play dough. Students measure the monster)
Candy Bowl (students create a candy bowl that will hold candy using building blocks)
Eye-Mazing Creation (students create something with craft eyes, paper, tape/glue, and marker/crayon)
