This product contains different math centers that can be used for October. Using playdoh to show number representation with ten frame to enhance number sense and one-to-one correspondence.
Using count the room activities for your kinesthetic learners (two different activities are included). Lastly, a number match-up to show different representations of a number- word, number, and tally marks.
Ten Frame Fun with Playdoh
Directions: Print the ten frame mats (1-20) onto cardstock and then laminate for durability.
Place the ten frame mats in a math center with playdoh. The students will choose a mat and say the number. Then they will use the playdoh to show that many in the ten frame.
Count the Room
Directions: Print the pages onto cardstock and laminate for durability. Cut cards apart.
Place the different cards around the room and have children find and count the pictures. There are two different student response sheets to differentiate for your learners. There are also two different count the room activities for two different weeks.

Place the cards in a basket or container and have them in the math center for students to match up. The students will match the digit card and tally card to the card with the word. Then they will complete student response pages. There are two different pages. One for students to match-up numbers 1-6 and one for students to match-up all numbers (1-12).
