This is the October version of the Daily Math Meeting we use at the beginning of our math class each day. (Some of you may have already used the September Math Meeting.) This slideshow has students further explore early numeracy skills introduced in the September Meeting. Five and tens frames are used to assist students in building a visual model of numbers, and students are introduced to the idea of number bonds. Concepts of even and odd are explored as well. Meetings can last as long as you like or can be skipped if time isn't available. This slideshow provides a quick math routine that requires absolutely NO teacher prep. Watch for my other monthly meetings to be posted here soon and let me know what you think!
