October Put Together Sentences contains 4 different sentences cut apart and ready for the pocket chart. It also includes the recording sheet for the students to write and put the sentence together.
Spooky Sound Sort (K.RF2d) has students reading a row of pictures and matching another card (with a Halloween theme) with the same beginning sound.
Digraph Sound Sort focuses on initial digraphs of th, ch, and wh. Students sort pictures cards by beginning digraph sound.
Something Sounds Different (K.RF2d, K.RF3d) has students reading the two pictures on the card. Then they decide where the sound is different- in the beginning, the middle or the end. Then students place the cards in the appropriate place on a pocket chart.
Opposites Attract (K.L5b) has students matching opposite picture cards on a pocket chart.
