Spiral review of early kindergarten skills in predictable yet engaging practice. Quickly assess your students' skills or use to remediate basics. Each worksheet includes:

  • A basic sight word sentence cut, scramble, and paste using one of two sentence stems. For advanced learners, they can compose their own sentence rather than copy.
  • Handwriting practice for many common lowercase letters
  • Beginning sound practice
  • A "color by sight word" grid reviewing basic sight words in different fonts and in a sentence.

Farm, pumpkin, and Halloween themes!

My students love these and I love the formative assessment they provide. I struggle to find easy-to-follow worksheets that cover multiple skills -- cutting, handwriting, sentence structure, sight words, early phonics, and sight words. Rather than hand my kids boring stacks of worksheets, this one-and-done approach keeps them accountable for practicing essential skills before they can move into centers. Great for homework or small groups!
