Perfect way for younger students to practice formulating complete sentences, recognizing accurate sentence structure, and thinking flexibly about language! These activities are designed to help students understand how to organize logical sentences in a hierarchical manner. All sentences are created using the first 100 Fry and Dolch Sight Words along with no more than one seasonal vocabulary word per sentence.
There are two ways to use this packet:
1.) Words can be cut up prior to students arriving and students can practice organizing words to make a logical sentence. Each sentence has a different picture on the words to prevent them from getting mixed up.
2.) Students cut out the words, organize them to make a logical sentence, glue them into the box, and then re-write the sentence using correct capitalization. Students can then draw a picture to match the sentence to demonstrate comprehension.
