Write the Room activities are some of my students' FAVORITES! With a differentiated set of cards and recording pages, everyone can participate whether working independently, with a partner, or in a small group. I introduce the activity to several students at once at our reading table, but once everyone has the hang of the expectations, I display cards throughout the room. My kindergartners love to carry their recording sheet and pencil on a clipboard, trying to see who can find their letters/sounds or words first.
Check out my store for more fun phonics, literacy, ELA, and math activities that work well for homeschool, pre-k, kindergarten, and ESOL students. Pages are created as "plain Jane" as possible to save you ink and to minimize distractions for students using materials for intervention purposes.
For this October/Halloween themed pack:

Students LOVE to search for

your copy quota! Print out and cut

Differentiate activity by

word cards, and by providing
students with skills-appropriate
