Odd Man Out is a twist on the old school game "One of These Things is Not Like the Others".
Students subitize to find the amount of dots in each set. The set with a different amount is the odd man out.
Students check their answers by placing a task card on top of the Odd Man Out card. The hole filled with a different color reveals the different amount.
This activity aligns to Common Core standard K.CC.5. It also promotes computation fluency, relating to standard K.OA.5.
