This packet of activities will give your students a multitude of practice identifying odd and even numbers using a hands-on approach.

This math packet includes the following:

• Anchor posters

• Odd and Even Craft: Odd and Even Buddies (all templates included) Students display their odd and even understanding on each craft.

• Odd and Even Pocket Book: Students sort two and three digit numbers into odd and even categories.

• Odd and Even Flap Book: Students identify odd and even numbers and write them under the correct flaps

• If the Shoe Fits Center Activity: Students sort numbers (two and three digit numbers included) into odd and even piles and record their answers

• Review, assessment and early finisher worksheets:

High Five (3 options) Students identify and color odd and even numbers

Flipping Out (2 options) Students determine and show how they know whether a set of numbers is odd or even.

These activities will challenge your students to not only identify odd and even numbers, but also be able to explain how they know a number is odd or even.
