This math center is perfect for your students to practice odd and even numbers. All students need is a game board, some snap cubes (or other game pieces), one die, and the included fact cards.
You can easily make this into a file folder game by pasting the game board into a file folder and putting the game cards into an envelope. Alternatively you can laminate the game board and keep the center in a tub or drawer. The game board comes in both color or black and white.
Differentiate this center using the included fact cards. You may choose to have students use:
- Numbers 1-20
- Numbers 51-70
- Numbers 181-200
Included Game Directions
Each player puts a game piece on Start.
Player 1 draws a card and reads the number to Player 2.
Player 2 says whether the number is odd or even.
Player 1 can check the answer by reading it on the bottom of the card.
If player 2 is right they can roll the number cube and move their game piece. If their answer is wrong, they lose their turn.
Continue play with Player 2 reading a card to Player 1.
The first player to get to the Finish sign wins.
