Have your kids practice skills in character analyzation and perspective writing. The assignment is composed of two parts. In the first part of the assignment students respond to questions/prompts that help them 1) Analyze Cyclops reading from Odyssey and 2) Prepare students for the perspective writing that is to come in part 2. The second part of the assignment promotes students' writing ability (specifically perspective) as well as reflecting skills as they must highlight the elements from part 1 in part 2.
