Looking to mix it up a bit in your classroom? Here is a discussion protocol I use with my students after they’ve finished reading Oedipus Rex. Students will stand up and move around the room to tackle these challenging discussion questions that focus on Sophocles’ craft. The fun part is the football game format—there are four quarters and even a halftime “show”!
