This is a set of discussion questions for the third chapter/section of Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. The activity consists of four broad, multi-faceted questions that give students the opportunity to think about and discuss the main ideas in the third chapter, in particular characterization and foreshadowing. Teachers can use these questions as the basis for cooperative group learning, individual student completion in class or for homework, or as the basis for whole-class discussion/instruction.
