This Vowel Digraphs game is perfect for literacy centers, and my primary grade students love it! It will provide your students an opportunity to practice reading long vowel words containing the following vowel digraphs: ai, ay, ee, ea, oa, ow
This game comes with over 85 game cards. There are enough cards provided for each of the vowel digraphs listed above to allow you to adapt the game to your students' needs. Use all cards together as a mixed review, or add cards as you introduce new vowel digraphs to your students.
Players take turns drawing cards and reading the word. If they read the word correctly, they keep the card. If they get an "Oh, Rats!" card, they must return all of their cards to the center pile. It contains over 85 game cards and is suitable for 2-6 players.
This can be used as a center in your classroom, for pull-out sessions for RTI or special education, or to send home for extra review with a parent or tutor. This game contains both a color version and black and white version.
If you enjoy the game, please leave feedback and a rating. Feel free to check out additional versions of this game at my TPT store (short vowels, consonant digraphs, magic 'e', vowel digraphs, ending blends)
