I created this set of practice problems for my high school physics class. We use this when we study electricity, Ohm's Law, and Power. These practice problems could also be used for physical science students.
This includes 15 practice problems with space for students to work out their answers. A detailed key is provided. This saves you time but also allows your students to see exactly where they are having problems.
I use this to teach the following Georgia Performance Standard:
SP5. Students will evaluate relationships between electrical and magnetic forces.
A. Describe the transformation of mechanical energy into electrical energy and the transmission of electrical energy.
B. Determine the relationship among potential difference, current, and resistance in a direct current circuit.
